An illustrated dictionary of architecture.

Archlexicon explains one architectural word at a time in a short vertical film. Each building part is modelled in 3D, drawn in pencil and marker, taken apart and cut in section until the idea is plain. Every film ends with a definition and a map of the word's cousins: the same solution under other names around the world.

The opening scene of each film is an AI reconstruction made from our own 3D model, and is labelled as such. Everything that explains, the exploded views, sections and labels, is drawn from the model.
