jharokha

A projecting, enclosed stone balcony of Rajasthani buildings.

Jharokhas hang from the upper floors of Rajasthani palaces and havelis on stone brackets, often screened with carved lattices. Jaipur's Hawa Mahal is a whole facade made of them.
