Cousin · England
staddle barn
A granary raised on mushroom-shaped staddle stones.
English farms set granaries and hayricks on staddle stones: a stone post with a wide flat cap, so that rats and damp could not climb in. The same idea as the hórreo's discs, in a different landscape.
